I think there is a huge disconnect between employers and employees. I think the main reason is that many corporations try to force a family culture but ultimately work is not family. Yes you can love the people you work with, you can even love the company but at the end of the day the relationship is transactional. The company will keep you as long as they see value, and you will work as long as you feel treated fairly. I don't know why people shy away from this fact. If we are transparent about the relationship, it works better for everyone. #Work #WorkCulture
