Our Social Prescribing Day Event was incredible! We are so grateful for the community organizations, businesses and community members that came together to learn more about social prescribing and how we can create connection opportunities in our community. Message me if you had to miss our event and I will meet up with you personally.

Social Prescribing should be a regular part of our mental healthcare. We are proud to be a part of this movement to bring "What matters to you" to the front of our healthcare system. Connection matters!

It's a BIG week for the #socialprescribing movement in the USA -- two developments to share: * A brand new survey from YouGov finds most Americans support social prescriptions becoming a regular part of U.S. health care, would like or love to receive a social prescription, and think doctors focus too little on the social causes of health * The fabulous teams at Mass Cultural Council and Art Pharmacy made history last week in announcing the first statewide social prescription program, involving Mass General Brigham and over 300 community partners! Learn more about the history and worldwide demand for social prescribing in #TheConnectionCure https://lnkd.in/dqudxBfP And check out what the folks at Social Prescribing USA are doing to make social prescribing a mainstream part of healthcare in all 50 states!

Did you see us mentioned in The New York Times? Great article about social prescribing and the movement across the United States to bring it forward as a viable healthcare option. Project Connection was built on the principle that connection is the foundation of mental health. Social prescribing is the process we are using to help our clients connect to their community and those around them.
