Meet some of our residents! ⭐️ Julia and Ebere are two sisters from our Skye Edge development in Sheffield. Both are carers and live just 5 minutes away from each other. Sian lives at our Welsh Streets development in Liverpool and works as a community midwife. John lives at our Manchester development, Elevate, and works as a drama teacher. All four of these residents are key workers who have chosen to rent with Placefirst. We take pride in providing secure, high-quality homes for key workers. In fact, just under half of all our residents are key workers, with 20% of them employed in healthcare. Sunderland City Council has given unanimous approval to the 75-homes at Nile + Villiers in the Sunniside area, as it drives to increase city centre living. 'A real footprint in the town' according to Jon Dyson, Director of Place at Bolton Council. 🤝🏻 It was lovely to welcome Jon, Sue Johnson (Chief Exec), Cllr Akhtar Zaman (Deputy Leader), and Paul Whittingham (Assistant Director Development & Regeneration) to tour our development built specifically for private rent in the centre of Bolton. Having acknowledged Placefirst as a 'strong development partner', it was brilliant to see Team Bolton appreciate the scale, progress, and impact that Deansgate Gardens will have on the town and also on attracting people to live in the centre as a key part of their regeneration strategy. “A game-changer for Bolton” was the feedback from this morning’s Women in Property North West tour of our new development in the town centre. 🏢 With only 15% of the general construction workforce being females, it’s not only brilliant to see a female site manager at Caddick Construction Limited bringing about change, but to also learn that Rachael is investing her time in bringing along another female trainee hoping to become assistant site manager too. 👏🏼 Thank you to everyone who joined us for an inspiring site visit led by some brilliant females and allies across Placefirst, Caddick Construction Limited and Women in Property North West.
