It was a pleasure working on this story with Reed Alexander, Hayley Cuccinello, and Claire Landsbaum - despite the last-minute effort to front-run our months of hard work with a sanitized, pop version of our lengthy request for comment in a rival publication. https://lnkd.in/eN4u9p4S

Here's a story where I got to act as editor and reporter — just one of the many perks of working at Business Insider, where we can wear many hats while also exploring fascinating topics, like Wall Street's underground drug culture. The best part was working with the many amazing reporters (7!) who made this grand collaboration so fun and easy. Thank you for all your Alex Nicoll, Dakin Campbell, CFA, Alex Morrell, Hayley Cuccinello, Emmalyse Brownstein, Bradley Saacks and Bianca Chan https://lnkd.in/eUf2giJA

I started 2024 testing positive for Covid but remain super psyched for the year ahead. Last year was challenging, but when I look back on what we accomplished at Business Insider, I couldn't be more proud. The finance team had so many amazing stories, from Alex Morrell's expose on the challenges of a young hedge fund CEO, to Emmalyse Brownstein's feature on loneliness among young Wall Street professionals. Alex Nicoll recently joined our team and immediately began getting scoops on the demise of the "proptech" industry. Plus, I got the chance to work with talent across the newsroom, like Hayley Cuccinello and Reed Alexander, on the tumultuous shakeup of Wells Fargo's services for the ultra rich, and Dakin Campbell, CFA on Goldman Sachs! Special thanks to Jeffrey Cane for his steadfast guidance, and Michelle Abrego and Dan DeFrancesco for being there and being fun! I look forward to rocking 2024 with you all! https://lnkd.in/eAGJbd_P https://lnkd.in/ebAezSFY https://lnkd.in/ePp7GwPr https://lnkd.in/eDQFTJgC https://lnkd.in/emg2UE58.
