Chief Commercial Officer at The Female Quotient

Sharing what is perhaps my most personal professional post — today I am both excited and humbled to share that I am joining UJA-Federation of New York's Board of Directors to be among the senior leadership involved in the oversight and stewardship of this incredible organization. I’ll continue to serve as Co-Chair of UJA's Marketing Committee and member of the Entertainment, Tech & Lifestyle Executive Board (and of course continue my role as Chief Commercial Officer at The Female Quotient). I’ve been involved with UJA as long as I can remember, having also participated in the Observership program, youth affinity groups, and multiple educational and grant committees. I’ve done this because the organization means a lot to me and does amazing work to provide support and resources to so many in need. But also because my dad was involved for decades (and quite literally my entire life). He was a 2x Annual Fund chair, on The Real Estate Executive Committee, the President’s Advisory Council, and was also on the Board of Directors. My dad passed away in March, and the two big ways I’ve been focusing on ensuring his legacy lives on is through family and philanthropy. I found out a few weeks after his death that I had been nominated for the board earlier in the year — it was such an emotional experience and meaningful way to honor him. In many ways he made me who I am professionally — I grew up watching him lead organizations, teams, companies, and industries. He led with strength, compassion, intelligence, and eloquence. Sharing this as a reminder that everything you do in life and everyone in your life impact who you are and how you show up.

Ah Jason - this is so meaningful and wonderful. You’ll make an amazing BoD member — given your passion and personal commitment to the UjA. However, your connection through your Dad is particularly incredible. The UJA is an inspiring organization that constantly does big and small things simultaneously, every day. They need people like you to bring all you have - and who you are — to the role. They are so lucky to have you.

Jason, I'm so sorry to hear about your dad - sending my belated condolences on your loss. Congratulations on this amazing next step- it's been an absolute pleasure to watch you grow as a lay leader and to work with you during my time at UJA-Federation of New York. I have no doubt that your father was immensely proud of you and schepped lots of nachas for your dedication to the community alongside your professional success. Your long-term involvement is quite literally paying it forward and demonstrating your family's values to the next generation!
