No one is saying his name. They are making prosthetics that match skin color! And this story keeps going viral. And no one says it's John Amanam Sunday, a Nigerian man. I'm so excited because a brown friend of mine has been sad to be wearing light prosthetics for years. I hope it hits mass market soon. 🌎💕 Have you ever seen prosthetics matching darker skin tones before? Edit: I connected to him and added the tag for you all. Go follow him! #Race #DEI #Tech
If we want representation we have to form our own companies and REPRESENT. Example FENTY BEAUTY. EVERY COMPANY that excludes and rolls back DEI, presents OUR communities with an avenue to disrupt that industry and provide unmet needs. FENTY BEAUTY. Every company that has an unmet demand for products and services for a wider audience but are opting to ignore that is leaving money on the table. MONEY we can get as those ignored communities. FENTY BEAUTY. This includes: ANY product with “NUDE” shades that don’t match all nude shades. DISRUPT. ANY, medical device that doesn’t include any reference of how things present on more than one skin tone. This would be practically every medical device. FENTY BEAUTY. DISRUPT. ANY product that excludes a huge demographic. DISRUPT. Clothing, shoes, makeup, hair products, medical devices, medical journals and more. The list is endless. DISRUPT & FENTY BEAUTY them, corner the market, fill unmet needs and employ the community while doing so. Always chess, never checkers.
