Help Me Launch A Better Media Platform

Help Me Launch A Better Media Platform

If you want to support me as a content creator, now is the time.

Over the past ten years, I've never asked for money as an influencer. I've never sold swag or a paid newsletter. I've never done a single sponsored post.

But now I need your help.

Please donate $10 to our new nonprofit, The DG Sentinel. With your support, we will change the face of media forever.

Media today is unethical and broken.

❌ The biggest media companies take money from businesses and celebrities for favorable coverage.

❌ They sell righteous outrage and want you to scream at the other side.

❌ They focus only on America and the Western World, even when they're supposedly "international."

❌ They cover people with disabilities and mental illnesses poorly, often in dangerously inaccurate ways.

We pledge to:

✔️ Stay independent, apolitical, and non-argumentative.

✔️ Never sell stories or positive coverage for money.

✔️ Focus on international news, not just the Western World.

✔️ Raise awareness through empathetic stories of real people with unique experiences.

And we're going to succeed.

✨ Our board includes an Emmy-Award winning director, best-selling authors, the Vice President of Content at Medium, an award-winning marketer, and famous influencers.

✨ Our leaders are female, nonbinary, queer, people with disabilities, Black, brown, Asian, Hispanic, Indigenous, citizens of many different countries, old, and young. We come from all religious backgrounds, education statuses, political backgrounds, and careers.

✨ We are committed to making the world a better place and will always be nonprofit.

If each of you donated $10, we could make our fundraising goals overnight. So if you see this message, please donate and share it with just ten others who will do the same.

And stay tuned! One of the reasons I created this newsletter four months ago was to give my followers early access to what is promising to be the next big thing in media, while staying nonpartisan, ethical, and nonprofit.

We are going to change the world. But because we're always going to fall behind our competitors who charge subscription fees, sell your data, and take money from billionaires for favorable coverage, we're going to need your help.

Right now, we are still all-volunteer. If you want to write for us or contribute in another way, just DM me.

Here's me talking about it if you want even more.

P.S. Yes, this is a subsidiary of Dweebs Global! If you need free mentorship, a free resume edit, or anything else, we continue to support everyone worldwide.

Keep up the great work, Isvari. As an old(er) white male, I would appreciate a chance to help your team to think outside-the-box about money, economics and commerce and not just apply better values to all the outdated economic models… It doesn’t work… It can’t work. I guess I wonder if you or your organization would be a good candidate for Substack's model. For a good cause, it's relatively easier to scale there.
