My friend has $200K in student debt. She took a class in law school called taxation. That class alone cost her about $10K. By the time she became a barred attorney, tax law had changed again. And it became EVEN WORSE for the poor, to the benefit of the wealthy. Three things rich people do: 👉 1. They don't hold money, they control it. This helps them avoid taxes. 👉 2. They pay low percentages of taxes for the most benefits --> America DOES have socialism for rich people! 👉 3. They lobby to get tax loopholes in their benefit. 🌎💕 Don't be a rich supervillain. 'They don't hold money, they control it' - is only 2/3 of the strategy. The critical 1/3 is ' they benefit from it'. Money doesn't have to be yours for you to benefit from it, that is what many wealthy people have figured out. Actually not all wealthy people have figured it out - most wealthy people are entirely ignorant of how to manage wealth. But they are smart enough to hire people who have and presto they 'benefit' from that knowledge. The solution to all unjust debt is the same - mass default. That is how you turn the tables. So long as the debtors collectively hold more than the creditors can sustainably lose, debtors have power. It won't be easy. Until then, it will be used to control people. Votes will be gotten off the back of 'forgiveness' or making the system more fair. It will never be.
Good idea!
