Humanity United strongly condemns the Kenyan government's violent response to protests against a tax-increasing bill that was later withdrawn. This has tragically led to deaths, injuries, and arrests. We urge the U.S. to use its influence to safeguard civil liberties in Kenya. 🇰🇪 Kenyan citizens demand military personnel return to their barracks and there be immediate release of all abducted by security forces. Despite its continued success, Stephen Engelberg (Editor-in-Chief) has said, “one thing that has not changed is the mission, which was written in year one. The idea was to do investigative journalism that would spur change and have real world impact. We stand with organizations like Amnesty International USA to call on President Biden to take action in Sudan. “Currently, El Fasher city in North Darfur is surrounded by the RSF and allied militias.
