In Geneva....HUGE amount of history here set the stage for so much of the modern Faith Driven Entrepreneur movement. Reuben Coulter walks us through this history from the very blocks of pavement that John Calvin and others walked on as they came from the marketplace (Calvin was an attorney) to worship God in this chapel.

Ever get the sense that philanthropy in the developing world doesn't work well? Here's a possible solution: Faith Driven Entrepreneurs in developing nations who go out to serve in the community, find problems to solve, sit on boards, and give where they see the needs....and do it together, in community...sharing best practices and spurring one another on to good deeds in a way that others will see and glorify their (our) Father in Heaven. Faith Driven Entrepreneurship in Nigeria is not just limited to marketplace entrerpeneurs that are making and selling a product or services. Tunde Onakoya is every bit the entrepreneur though as he is solving problems as all of us endeavor to to. He's doing it by bringing Chess and God's love to tens of thousands of students in Nigeria and then across Africa, and recently set a Guiness World Record for the longest chess marathon....60 hours in Time Square. Incredble. More impressive is his deep seeded commitment to bring a sense of dignity to a generation of children growing up in financial poverty who come to see their potential by playing the game of kings in community, with many advancing to local, regional and national championships. #Nigeria #socialentrepreneur #chess

Many of you know about the 12 Marks of a Faith Driven Entrepreneur, from being a part of a FDE group, and how it's articulated in week 1 of the FDE series where Dave Munson and James Greear (JD), talk about Our Identity in Christ....BUT it's something extra special to hear about it articulated from a FDE out in the marketplace that is wrestling with what their identity really is, and whether they are acting as if they could earn their own salvation (hint: they can't.....it's free grace, unmerited favor!) Oluwatomi Ayorinde riffs on this a bit in today's report from Lagos.

Some might say that a market is about supply and demand, but with Faith Driven Investor there is a 3rd leg to the stool....the independent registered investment advisor (IRIA). Mark Wesson from EverSource Wealth Advisors is an early, early believer in the Faith Driven Investor movement and a great friend who "gets it" providing a platform for IRIAs looking to move to a platform where they can get access to an increasing range of faith driven investments across different asset classes and geographies.
