We’re delighted to welcome Sharmin Akter, our newest Staff Engineer in Epsilon’s Air Quality Group. Sharmin brings a wealth of expertise from her over five years as a Graduate Research Assistant in Computational Atmospheric Chemistry and Exposure at the University of Connecticut (UConn). She is currently a Ph.D. candidate in the Environmental Engineering program at UConn, graduating this Summer, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Khulna University of Engineering and Technology. Her extensive coursework includes Hydrometeorology, Atmospheric Chemistry and Physics, and Air Pollution and Agriculture. At Epsilon, Sharmin focuses on regulatory permitting and compliance support of complex projects, air quality dispersion modeling, related air quality and health analyses, and ongoing emissions tracking. #WelcomeAboard #AirQuality #PermittingMatters
