Congratulations to Avangrid for receiving full federal approval for the construction of New England Wind! Epsilon has been honored to lead the federal permitting for New England Wind (comprising New England Wind 1 and New England Wind 2 projects), including the preparation of the Construction and Operations Plans (COP) first submitted to the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management in 2020. We are also proud to lead the state, regional, and local permitting for state-jurisdictional elements of the New England Wind 1 and New England Wind 2 projects. Congratulations to Atlantic Shores Offshore Wind on receiving the Record of Decision (RoD) for the Atlantic Shores Project 1 & 2! We are thrilled to see this milestone for a groundbreaking initiative that will generate an impressive 11,000 MW of clean energy for New Jersey by 2040. Epsilon is honored to play a role in this achievement by supporting the development of the Construction and Operations Plan (COP), in collaboration with our partners at EDR, which was first submitted to the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM) in 2022. We’re thrilled to welcome Jacob Molea to our team as a Staff Engineer in the Acoustics Group. Jacob, a recent graduate from the University of Hartford with a Bachelor of Science in Acoustical Engineering and Music, brings a wealth of knowledge and skills to our team. At Epsilon, Jacob will be instrumental in community sound level measurement programs, meteorological data collection, data analysis, shadow flicker analyses for wind turbines, and sound level modeling.
