Spot on Asad Naveed! Crafting that perfect research question feels like finding the missing piece in a puzzle. I always tell my mentees to think of it as setting up a GPS for their entire project journey. One fun trick? Pretend you're explaining your project to a friend outside your field. If they get why it's cool, you're on the right track!

Great framework Asad Naveed! People often approach me to say that all questions in their topic are already taken. But this is often because one might not have delved deeper or gone through step 4 in your framework, i.e., brainstorm and think about subtopics. Going sequentially through PICO (problem, intervention, comparator, and outcome) will invariably yield good questions. Is there a certain population that has not been studied for the topic, or did the previous study lacked a general population control, etc.
