I am still buzzing from the Midwest Reproductive Symposium International last week. A few thank yous and takeaways: -Smaller conferences = more intimate, rich dialogue: I really valued the ability to dig in with people (old and new!), spend the time, learn and soak up the energy both at the conference and after the sessions. In particular, thank you to Eduardo Hariton, MD, MBA for bringing some of us together over dinner and to Shawn Vincent for inviting us to help welcome all attendees alongside Blue Cardinal Advisors Path Fertility Allkind and GENESCREEN COUNSELING, LLC at the opening reception. -Separate sessions for various audiences (e.g., APPs, RNs) illuminated the need for putting the work in the right place: Using everyone’s time efficiently is a key theme of our work at Frame, so we are here for this discussion for sure. There is enough work to go around, so we look forward to the continued conversation on how technology and virtual services can support clinical staff and their patients. -Meeting Fellows and really anyone in medical training reminds me of the bright future ahead: As expected, this conference embraced innovation and collaboration to improve the patient experience. And the REI Fellows are always ready to dig in and actively engaging. (Looking at amazing fellows like you Arielle Yeshua among many others!) Congratulations and thank you to Nickey Pappas, Tracey Carson and Angie Beltsos for bringing us all together. The theme of the event is still ringing in my ears :) Frame will be back next year for sure!

This year’s Midwest Reproductive Society International Meeting was nothing short of amazing and incredibly educational! I had the distinct honor of moderating a session focused on the latest updates in endometriosis research and treatments. The discussions were rich with new insights and innovative approaches, making it an invaluable experience for all attendees. A huge thank you to the MRSi for inviting me and providing this wonderful opportunity! Aside from the enriching professional exchange, I made sure to indulge in some local Chicago delights. I couldn’t leave without diving into a delicious deep dish pizza – a true culinary experience! And, of course, I visited the Ledge at the Willis Tower, taking in breathtaking views of the city from this iconic glass balcony. Overall, this year’s meeting was a perfect blend of professional growth and personal enjoyment. I’m already looking forward to next year’s event!

"Ready to Make Music Together?" asked Angie Beltsos and made us sing this year in Chicago at the 2024 Midwest Reproductive Symposium International. Not sure what we're going to have to do next year, but I'll definitely come back because again, I learned a lot. Thanks David Stern and Richard Scott for the Pros and Cons session on Private Equity in the fertility industry, thanks Caroline Christopher for teaching me antral follicle count (I know it is actually a lot harder than with your software), thanks Jeff Pogany for telling me things I don't like but need to hear ;), and thanks to everyone who joined LEVY for coffee sessions and the magnificent CEO Dinner: Steve Rooks, Roohi Jeelani, MD, FACOG, Kathleen Miller, Cynthia Hudson, Mike Large, Simon Lumsdon, GG Collins, Eduardo Hariton, MD, MBA, and Rachel Weinerman. Thanks to my partner in crime Catherine Carlson from LEVY Health, and last but not least thank you to Nickey Pappas and Tracey Carson for organizing this great event! 💛

Well, my Midwest Reproductive Symposium International was complete after having the honor of teaching one of my all-time IVF idols of 35 years, Susan Crockin, how to load embryos into a transfer catheter at the embryology workshop 😊~~!

June is World Infertility Awareness Month. Allow me to make you "aware" of a beautifully hopeful piece of info. According to IMARC, the global female infertility market is expected to hit US$ 2.7 Billion by 2034, with a CAGR of 2.76%. We have our industry's relentless pursuit of assisted reproductive technology developments to thank for it (largely.) Chances of success grow alongside our innovations, and progress begets progress. With success comes increased acceptance and public awareness, and more individuals are encouraged to seek help. In ten years time, we'll be looking at a very different, improved infertility space.
