Path Fertility Co-Founders, Andy Olson and Dr. Kristin Brogaard, have the pleasure of presenting recent real-world data at MRSI in Chicago this week. The real-world data reveal a 0% pregnancy success rate for patients with an Abnormal SpermQT undergoing IUI (average 2.7 cycles). In contrast, patients with Excellent or Normal SpermQT results achieved a 19.7% pregnancy success rate. These findings are promising, as they support our hypothesis that IUI is not an effective treatment option for couples with significant gene dysregulation in their sperm. #MRSI #data #reproductivehealth #reproductiveendocrinology #fertility #infertility

Revolutionizing male fertility testing with breakthrough epigenetic technology.
About us
Path Fertility works with doctors and fertility specialists to provide couples who are trying to conceive with answers. Using breakthrough technology, Path Fertility has developed a sperm analysis test that is more predictive of pregnancy than the current standard of care semen analysis alone. SpermQT examines epigenetic biomarkers and DNA methylation within the sperm head--looking beyond typical criteria of male fertility such as sperm count, motility, and concentration. Despite common misconceptions, fertility problems are common (1 in 6 people) and impact both men and women equally. The gender divide in both fertility testing and treatment has left not only a gap in potential interventions, but also in the emotional burden that partners experience. Path Fertility is on a mission to raise the standard of care for male reproductive health. Male fertility is a women's health issue. When subfertile men go undiagnosed, women are put through fertility treatments that will not work. Powered by Inherent Biosciences.

And that's a wrap on National Infertility Awareness Week 2024! This week is always special to the team at Path Fertility because we are on a mission to help both patients and providers gain a better understanding of fertility potential. We've seen the heartbreak and felt the losses that are so prevalent in the infertility community. But we've also seen what it looks like on the other side of that journey--when the baby finally arrives and there is so much joy in this shared experience. And so, we aim to help couples out there to gain as much information as they can about the male side of reproductive health and how that affects their options. If you'd like to join us on our mission, or if you'd like to use SpermQT, feel free to reach out to us at info@pathfertility.com! #NationalInfertilityAwarenessWeek #NIAW #TTC #Fertility

📊 SpermQT categorizes sperm quality results as Excellent, Normal or Abnormal, each of which are correlated with success rates of certain fertility procedures. 4 out of 5 men with an Abnormal SpermQT result display normal semen analysis parameters, meaning those subfertile men are missed by the standard of care. Using SpermQT at the beginning of your fertility journey can help to avoid wasting time on procedures or techniques that won't work. Further in your journey, SpermQT can also help to explain why options like IUI might be failing. 📣 We asked one of our users: what prompted your doctor to order SpermQT? #NationalInfertilityAwarenessWeek #NIAW #ReproductiveEndocrinology #Urology #Fertility #TTC

Fertility 101: How many times should you try IVF? Undergoing IVF is a major decision and if you've tried it before, you know how much time, money, and dedication it takes. Unfortunately, IVF doesn't always work on the first try. In fact, the number of assisted reproductive technology (ART) cycles started more than doubled in the US between 2010 and 2019. 🤷♀️ So, how many times should you try it before seeking other options? 📈 Generally, studies show that the cumulative effect of trying multiple IVF rounds can lead to higher chances of pregnancy. Nevertheless, deciding to continue or stop trying is highly personal. It should be made in consideration of all psychological, financial, and health risk factors. Read more to understand possible risks of multiple cycles, how often you can try IVF, and potential ways to improve your outcomes: https://lnkd.in/e5cn8Zt9 #NationalInfertilityAwarenessWeek #NIAW #IVFsucks #IVF #TTC

Get the Fertility Facts: What are the stages of embryo development? 🐝 We’ve all heard the simple tales about the birds and the bees. But for those trying to conceive who want a little more detail about how babies are made, we're here to help! Several distinct stages have to happen for an embryo to develop: 🔹 A sperm must reach, penetrate, and fertilize an egg to form a zygote. 🔹 The zygote must divide and form a blastocyst. 🔹 The blastocyst must reach the uterus and implant in the endometrium. 🔹 The implanted blastocyst continues its development into an embryo and then a fetus. In this guide, we will explain each of these crucial stages and offer insights about what’s going on in your body as you explore the path to parenthood!
