In the spirit of this week's fireworks displays, we at J Sherman Studio are sharing three ways to spark creativity in your work.
And I'd like to personally add a fourth: Step out of your comfort zone—try something new.
To be honest, talking in front of a camera and making these little videos (and then posting them online!) does NOT come naturally or easy to me! But it's opened the door to figuring out how I want to explain and present ideas, and it's ignited a side of myself that feels unfamiliar yet intriguing. I look forward to exploring this new avenue more, flexing my presentation muscles more, and seeing what sparks and connections my future holds. And thanks to the support from friends and colleagues, all of this feels just a bit less scary! 🎆 🎇 🎆 🎇
This week's firework festivities 🎆 make us think about the ways that we here at the Studio keep our creative spark alive and kicking, so that we can light up and bring life to our work. Abigail Maulion shares three ideas 💡💡💡 to keep the inspiration coming—and we've listed them below too for your convenience! Happy 4th, everyone!
3 WAYS TO SPARK CREATIVITY
1. Go outside
2. Build an inspiration board
3. Give yourself a "micro-challenge"
