A Behind-the-Scenes Look at Our Rebranding Process – Meet the New Bold Marketing Co. 🟢⚪️🟡 We’ve recently undergone an exciting evolution at Bold Marketing Co. and we wanted to bring you along for the journey. Here’s how we went about the rebrand: Step 1: Concept and Vision Every successful rebrand starts with a clear vision. Our new Director, Leigh Gant, envisioned a modern, bright, and vibrant brand that truly reflects our values and the energy we bring to our clients. With this vision in mind, we asked ourselves: What do we want our business to convey? How do we want our audience to feel when they interact with us? What are our core values? Step 2: Moodboard Creation With Leigh’s vision in hand, our design team got to work. They created an initial moodboard to convey the aesthetic and emotional essence of our brand. This moodboard included a curated collection of images, colours, typography, and textures to represent our identity and style. We received two moodboard options to consider, each offering a unique take on our new direction. Step 3: Refinement After careful deliberation, we chose the moodboard that best aligned with our vision. We provided feedback to our designers, asking them to refine and expand upon the modern, vibrant feel we wanted. Their mission: to make our brand come alive with energy and authenticity. Step 4: Final Brand Guidelines The final step was receiving our comprehensive brand guidelines. These included our new brand colours, fonts, and logos. With these guidelines, we now have a clear and consistent brand voice and feel that we can carry across all our marketing efforts. We’re thrilled to share the continued evolution of Bold Marketing Co. with you and look forward to what’s ahead. Thank you for being part of this journey with us 🤝 #BehindTheScenes #Rebranding #BoldMarketingCo

💡Top 5 things to remember when creating brand styleguides A brand styleguide is a holistic set of standards that defines your company's branding. It references logo usage, colors, visuals, word usage & tone, and more. 1️⃣ Define your brand identity: Before creating styleguide, you must have a clear understanding of your brand's identity—its mission, values, and personality. It will guide the tone, aesthetics, and overall approach of your style guide. 2️⃣ Include core visual elements: Clearly define the use of logos, colors, typography, and images. Styleguide should include specifications on logo sizes and placement, color palettes with specific color choices & codes, and typography details such as acceptable fonts and hierarchy. 3️⃣ Consider different media and platforms: Make sure your styleguide addresses how branding should adapt across different platforms (e.g., online, social media, print). This may involve varying layouts, font sizes, or image styles depending on the medium. 4️⃣ Provide clear examples and templates: Examples of correct and incorrect usage (do's and don'ts) help clarify the rules. Templates for common layouts can provide a starting point that ensures consistency. 5️⃣ Keep track of updates of your styleguide: Use a version control system to ensure that you are always working with the most current set of guidelines. A version control system can also help you get a historical record of how your brand has evolved. 📕 Styleguide examples: Canal+: https://lnkd.in/drb85vnA Netflix: https://lnkd.in/dm7s2HQq TikTok: https://lnkd.in/d9yhHRMw Hulu: https://lnkd.in/dyAPG9cz MasterCard: https://lnkd.in/dirg8PHM Branding Style Guides (https://lnkd.in/d9Az3Mh3) is an excellent place to visit if you want to browse an incredible collection of styleguides created by top brands like Coca-Cola and Uber. 🖼 Brand guidelines by Luboš Volkov #styleguide #UI #brand #branddesign #design #productdesign #branding

Why are most brandings fu*ked up? When I take on a new design project, the first thing I request is the brand guidelines. These guidelines are the bible of your brand’s visuals. But, to my surprise, nothing, and I mean NOTHING, is followed from those guidelines. It usually looks like a completely different brand, and that’s why your visual branding is fu*ked up. A comprehensive brand guideline should include: - Brand Brief - Brand Personality Archetype - Logo and its Meaning - User Manual for the Logo - Colors and Typography with Application Guidelines - Icons and Illustrations - with Applicability - Imagery and Moodboard - Mock-ups of Collateral Designs In addition, make sure to have logo files, font files, and icons separately available for usage. It doesn’t matter how impressive your branding is—if you don't adhere to the guidelines strictly, you're going to fu*k it up. Go check your guidelines and ensure you're following them!

Designing a Logo that Lasts: Key Principles Creating a logo that leaves a lasting impression requires more than just aesthetic appeal; it demands a deep understanding of your brand's core values and mission. We emphasize the importance of designing a logo that is memorable, versatile, and reflective of your company's identity. A compelling logo is the cornerstone of your brand's visual identity, appearing across all platforms and merchandise. It's the first thing potential clients will notice, setting the tone for all subsequent brand interactions. To achieve this, focus on simplicity and clarity. A simple design is easier to recognize and replicates across different mediums, from digital ads to print materials. Color choice is crucial as it conveys emotions and messages subconsciously. Select colors that align with the traits you want associated with your brand—blue for trustworthiness, green for growth, etc. Moreover, the logo must be functional, scaling up or down without losing impact, ensuring it looks as good on a business card as it does on a billboard. Lastly, integrating your logo into a broader visual strategy that encompasses all aspects of your brand identity—from typography to imagery—ensures consistency. This consistency is key to building strong brand recognition and loyalty. Follow these principles. Create a visual identity. Stand out in a crowd. Remember, it's not the story you tell, but who tells your story. -Malcholm #LogoDesign, #BrandIdentity, #VisualIdentity, #BusinessBranding
