Are you a skilled Physician looking to make a difference? Matrix Providers is seeking a Physician - Internist to provide healthcare services to Military Service Members and their families in San Diego, CA. As an independent contractor, you will work full-time with a competitive hourly compensation of $190.67 and have the opportunity to receive a sign-on or relocation bonus of up to $10,000. In addition, you can earn a $500 incentive for completing your application and submitting onboarding documents within 48-72 hours.
Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Physician - Internist with Matrix Providers, you will have the following responsibilities:
Requirements
Possess a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) degree.
Graduate from an accredited medical school in the United States or Canada.
Board-eligible or board certified as required.
Successfully complete an internship and residency program.
Demonstrate clinical competency within the past two years.
Hold a current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice medicine.
Core Duties
Perform a full range of physician services by granted privileges.
Direct, perform, or assist in instructing other healthcare professionals.
Examine, diagnose, treat, or prescribe courses of treatment.
Provide preventive and health maintenance care.
Order diagnostic tests, consultation, or referral with appropriate resources.
