Field Service Technician

Basic Function:

Responsible for all areas of field service.

Travel to job sites and perform required investigations and remedial repairs.

Job must be performed on-site at Peerless Products facilities (unless otherwise assigned).

Job Duties:

Travel to project locations and investigate claims and window quality.

Perform warrantied remedial work.

Fill out daily reports and email to Field Service Coordinator.

Maintain service trucks with proper maintenance and supply levels.

Fill out and submit hour sheets and expense reports weekly.

Other Duties As Required.

Other duties/responsibilities:

Help in different positions when instructed.

Excellent attendance.

Maintain a clean & safe work area/environment.

Skills and Qualifications:

Able to communicate with customers.

Able to document and file issues discovered.

Able to properly identify issues and report findings to Field Service Coordinator.

Physical demands:

Lift 50

Stand, stretch arms above head, stoop, & bend on concrete floors.

Work at a fast pace.

Working conditions:

Non-climate controlled work environment (hot in summer, cold in winter).

Concrete floors.

Some dirt & metal chips.

Some fumes from cleaning chemicals, welding processes, & paint.

Noise.

With/around sharp objects & glass.
