How does user intent impact keyword research for SEO?
It’s the most basic and unobscured manifestation of supply and demand. Intent is an unfiltered version of demand. People don’t search for things they don’t want or want to know. There’s no impressing someone with your browsing and search history. If your finger is not on the pulse of demand and its dynamism, you’re not providing responses to demand. And you’re not relevant. Supply of information and offerings must constantly flex with intent / demand. The best brands anticipate intent and demand by looking for early indicating signals of consumer intent shifts and running to where the ball will be, not where it currently is.

What is the best way to measure the effectiveness of online surveys in achieving research goals?
In my experience, the ever increasing speed of the news cycle is constantly shifting attitudes about almost everything as we tend to filter opinions through cultural and economic lenses. I think if you want stable insight you can’t do a “one and done”. You probably need to field a handful of surveys over a reasonable time period (at least a few weeks) to wash out attitudes of the day, bake in well seated attitudes, thus eliminating some of the insights that might result in insights and actions that might not be relevant in a few weeks, when your actions are being planned and maybe not actioned and implemented in weeks or even months.
