Here's how you can effectively network and forge valuable connections in the small business industry.
One thing I’ve used with great success is finding a good referral for a customer. This can be anything from a wine store owner to a CPA. I referred a haberdasher (yes there is such a thing). Haberdashers deal with upscale clients and he was delighted to get a referral. I didn’t expect anything in return, but I got a referral back, plus a bottle of good wine. Give, and you will receive.
