Our mission at AWNY is to help women in advertising and communications achieve both personal and professional success at all stages of their careers through thought-leadership, mentoring, professional development and industry recognition.
It gives me great pleasure to be able to work with up and coming talent in our industry as it's so important to give a voice to the dynamics that women bring to business.
In my role at AWNY, I have worked on defining the benefits of membership at various levels – young exec, mid exec and most recently the launch of the Executive Class membership level.
In addition to board meetings, I participate in annual strategy sessions. During one of these sessions I developed the "C-suite Meet" - an intimate Q&A style gathering where the audience gets up close and personal with a C-level member of our industry.
Along with some of my fellow board members, I am also working on AWNY's communications architecture and corresponding year-long communications plan.
