Neighbors helping neighbors. When rushing water from the Blue Earth River swept an entire power substation downriver, damaging a dam and causing significant hardship for the Rapidan community, our crews jumped into action. Thank you to all who responded quickly, restoring power and uniting a community. We’re stronger together. We’re making a $15,000 donation to support the Rapidan community in the wake of the flooding. When an emergency strikes, being prepared, prioritizing safety and working together quickly matters. Recently we collaborated with White Bear Lake’s Fire Department in Minnesota to train teams on how to respond to a crisis in our communities. More than a dozen crews worked in simulated, real-life scenarios—from natural gas leaks to downed power lines. Working alongside our emergency responders is key to ensuring public safety in dangerous situations.
