This position will be pivotal within the Bodwé family of companies and will be responsible for key areas such as Strategic Management, Financial Management, Federal Client Relationship Management Operations, Team Leadership, Project Management, Federal Contracting and Compliance, and General Compliance, Risk, and Governance Management. One of the practice areas that the Bodwé Group, and specifically our Infrastructure Services Branch is experiencing growth and expansion in is our #TransportationEngineering group. Over the past year, we have earned several new contracts supporting project work for area municipalities and transportation departments, including the Illinois Department of Transportation. Did you know only 14% of working engineers are women? International Women in Engineering Day is June 23, and this year we are celebrating the incredible women we have as part of our team. Across the Bodwé Group Branches, we are proud to have 35% of our engineering professionals, including five of our seven engineering interns this summer, be women. We recently asked team members to share their experiences as women in engineering and invite you to learn more about a few of them in the images here. How does Bodwé Group connect back to Mno-Bmadsen and the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi? To deepen the Bodwé team’s understanding, we recently held a series of enculturation presentations that shed light on these connections and explored the past, present, and future of the Pokagon Band. Offered in-person and virtually, these sessions were led by two Pokagon citizens, Marcus Winchester, Pokagon Cultural Leader, and Michaelina Martin, Mno-Bmadsen Vice President of Communications, as well as Julio Martinez, Mno-Bmadsen CEO. Marcus and Micky presented the rich history of the Pokagon Band and the Band’s vision for the future, while Julio shared the journey of Mno-Bmadsen and our growth across the Mno investment portfolio. By better understanding our roots and our mission, we are able to contribute more meaningfully to growing the economy and legacy of the Pokagon Band.
