Earlier this week, a group of our interior designers attended NeoCon, an annual conference that brings the interior design community together for idea-sharing and innovation. The Bodwé interiors group was able to engage with other professionals, learn about new products and technology, and hear from keynote speakers such as Bob Weis, who led a session about “Leveraging the Power of Storytelling in Commercial Design” on Monday. We are eager to have our team members help implement the knowledge they gained at NeoCon into our collective work to create functional, beautiful spaces for our clients. #Conferences #InteriorDesign #ProfessionalDevelopment #Networking  

How does Bodwé Group connect back to Mno-Bmadsen and the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi? To deepen the Bodwé team’s understanding, we recently held a series of enculturation presentations that shed light on these connections and explored the past, present, and future of the Pokagon Band. Offered in-person and virtually, these sessions were led by two Pokagon citizens, Marcus Winchester, Pokagon Cultural Leader, and Michaelina Martin, Mno-Bmadsen Vice President of Communications, as well as Julio Martinez, Mno-Bmadsen CEO. Marcus and Micky presented the rich history of the Pokagon Band and the Band’s vision for the future, while Julio shared the journey of Mno-Bmadsen and our growth across the Mno investment portfolio. By better understanding our roots and our mission, we are able to contribute more meaningfully to growing the economy and legacy of the Pokagon Band. The Bodwé family of companies is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join The Steelhead Engineering Company who will help lead electrical engineering design on projects for clients across the country and who will act as a mentor within the #MEP team members on the Building Services Branch.
