How does Bodwé Group connect back to Mno-Bmadsen and the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi? To deepen the Bodwé team’s understanding, we recently held a series of enculturation presentations that shed light on these connections and explored the past, present, and future of the Pokagon Band. Offered in-person and virtually, these sessions were led by two Pokagon citizens, Marcus Winchester, Pokagon Cultural Leader, and Michaelina Martin, Mno-Bmadsen Vice President of Communications, as well as Julio Martinez, Mno-Bmadsen CEO. Marcus and Micky presented the rich history of the Pokagon Band and the Band’s vision for the future, while Julio shared the journey of Mno-Bmadsen and our growth across the Mno investment portfolio. By better understanding our roots and our mission, we are able to contribute more meaningfully to growing the economy and legacy of the Pokagon Band. The Bodwé family of companies is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join The Steelhead Engineering Company who will help lead electrical engineering design on projects for clients across the country and who will act as a mentor within the #MEP team members on the Building Services Branch. The Bodwé Buildings Branch offers integrated full-service architecture and engineering to plan, solve problems, and deliver innovative design solutions and communities for our clients across the country. It was an honor to be able to sponsor a hole at the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi’s 15th Annual Veterans Memorial Golf Tournament last Friday and further support our tribal ownership at the Pokagon Band. Team members from across Bodwé Group enjoyed a beautiful day at the Hampshire Country Club as part of this annual fundraiser to benefit the Pokagon Potawatomi Veterans Society Military Emergency Relief Fund, a resource for Pokagon citizens and veterans who are both active duty and retired military.
