It’s our favorite time of year: Hops For Hope! We’re honored to be raising funds for Children's Flight of Hope to help kids receive life-saving medical care. Walk West is partnering with Proximity Brewing Company in Durham to create a custom beer for the event. Hops for Hope is an annual fundraiser in which companies partner with breweries to create custom beers to raise money for Children’s Flight of Hope. Want to #DrinkBeerDoGood with us? Recently, we had the privilege of volunteering with Oak City Cares, an important organization in Wake County that coordinates essential services for those experiencing homelessness. Our team toured the facility and saw firsthand the good Oak City Cares is doing. We spent the afternoon organizing supplies for their on-site shower services, where individuals and families can come in to shower and take care of themselves. In anticipation of the 2024 Summer Olympics, we hosted our own Walk West Office Olympics! Four teams competed for glory in an assortment of games and contests that tested our skills, speed, and flip-cup prowess. One team took home the gold. Congrats, team Brazil! Walk West wouldn’t be the agency it is without our people. We’re so glad we got to spend an afternoon connecting and having fun together.

We think Abha Bowers is pretty great, and so does the Triangle Business Journal! Our Chief Growth Officer was recently recognized at the Triangle Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 Awards Ceremony last week. If you’ve worked with Abha, you know this recognition is well deserved — as was the evening afterward to celebrate. Congrats, Abha!

While only some of us at Walk West are fathers, all of us are marketers, and we're bringing the marketing #DadJokes for Father's Day. We also want to recognize and hold space for anyone having a difficult time today.

Our designers put a lot of thoughtful details into the work they create. Check out some of the elements from the poster design for the Walk West office made by our very own Kale Simmons. She incorporated some of the elements that make Walk West the company that it is: the things that our people are passionate about. We’re a food-loving, creative-obsessed, movie-watching, word-crazed group of humans who are passionate about creating solutions for our clients.
