At MSH, our culture and values are THE reason people work here.
Being a company that celebrates our team's wins, big and small, we knew it was important to have an award for the team member who most lived the company's values while showing what high performance looks like.
In that order of priority.
It should be voted on by your peers and be the most prestigious honor you can get in our company.
We just needed a name.
I remember in 2015, we were in a room throwing out ideas to come up with a name and what the award should be about.
1 of my most trusted confidantes in the company wanted us to call it "The Sh*t" Award. You know, like "Make Sh*t Happen"? (It goes to show sometimes, as a leader, it's not just the ideas you run with that matter. It's knowing the ones to avoid too. 😅)
Running out of ideas, we went back to our core values. Like we always do in times of doubt.
Then it was there, staring us in the face.
Will to Win. 💥
The embodiment of our culture. Rising in the most challenging of times. An indomitable spirit to deliver for our customers, candidates, and company.
And thus, the Will to Winner was born.
We have had 6 winners in the company's history, all recognized for their willingness to help, growth mindset, passion for their work, and consistency in personality and performance.
They get a trophy, recognition at our company year-end soiree, their name engraved on a plaque, and a MSH blue blazer to wear for the year.
We are getting close to the time of year when we vote again.
And I couldn't be more excited.
Who will be this year's Will to Winner? 👀
