Visit Annapolis and Anne Arundel County (VAAAC) is a nonprofit, membership-based Destination Marketing Organization (DMO) that generates revenues for the local economy by promoting Annapolis and the Chesapeake Bay to leisure and business travelers across the country and around the world. As the county DMO, we execute strategic marketing and sales campaigns that position our portfolio of brands to key markets encouraging first-time as well as repeat visitation to the county. Our strategy combines multi-channel advertising, inbound marketing campaigns, direct sales initiatives, and continued media relationship nurturing.

Our sales team is hard at work at this year’s MRN Summit!
I spent the past few days networking with some fantastic Military Reunion planners at MRN Summit 2024. Michelle Doerr wowwed them with all the fabulous options when visiting the United States Naval Academy. I enlightened them on the history and cultural activities in Annapolis and Anne Arundel County. Dean Miller was a great host and afforded us the opportunity to visit The National Museum of the United States Army (if you haven't been it's worth a trip) and United States Navy Memorial. Sharon Danitschek, job well done! Thank you for the guidance, encouragement, and professionalism shown to Summit attendees. The passion that you have for what you do clearly shows. It was also great to reconnect with colleagues (Yvonne Long, GSD and Courtney Paterson) and meet some new ones as well (Zondra Jones, CGMP, CDTP, OGVS, Isaiah Griffin, CGMP, Rebekah Everhart, Megan Claspell, and Lisa Ochomogo). Visit Annapolis & Anne Arundel County (VAAAC) got a sustainable upgrade in the Visitor Center Lot in downtown Annapolis this week. Through Baltimore Gas and Electric's EV Smart program, celebrating its 5th anniversary, downtown #Annapolis received its first rapid charger! The charger allows EVs to charge within an hour, allowing them to plug in and explore Annapolis before heading to their hotel or next destination.
