BGE and Annapolis officials have opened the city’s first public 150 kW fast charger at the Annapolis Visitor Center, celebrating the 5th anniversary of the EVsmart program, which has significantly boosted EV adoption and infrastructure across central Maryland since 2019. “Expanding EV charging infrastructure is a vital part of BGE’s effort to help decarbonize the transportation sector in Maryland and support the transformative work necessary for our state to achieve its climate goals,” said BGE President and CEO Carim Khouzami.
