  • BIG NEWS! TriStar Hendersonville is planning to bring a freestanding emergency room to White House! “We are proud to be the hospital of choice for the residents of White House and surrounding communities, and we look forward to bringing our care closer to home,” said Justin Coury, chief executive officer of TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center. “This new freestanding emergency room will ensure that residents can access high-quality emergency care much faster which can save lives.” TriStar Hendersonville plans to apply for a Certificate of Need with the Tennessee Health Facilities Commission to build a state-of-the-art emergency room that will enhance healthcare access to critical emergency services. We are excited to expand our services to this growing community and look forward to providing life-saving care closer to home. A freestanding ER can do all the things a hospital-based ER can do. It can treat heart attacks, strokes, broken bones and other emergencies. The only difference is that it isn't connected to a hospital, allowing them to be located in communities that are miles away from the nearest ER to provide faster care. The proposed freestanding emergency room will feature: • 11 treatment/exam rooms • Trauma room • Imaging department • Nursing station • Support space

  • We love to shine a spotlight on our incredible colleagues! Patricia works on our Environmental Services team. After her shift, she returns to the hospital on nights and weekends as a volunteer. Armed with kindness and her infectious smile, Patricia visits with patients who have no visitors. She sits with patients, listens to their stories and holds their hands, offering comfort during a difficult time. Thank you, Patricia, for your commitment to our patients. You are truly making a difference and creating healthier tomorrows for our community. Learn More: https://bit.ly/4f2aPwf

  • Today, we're proud to shine the spotlight on Jessica Woods, BSN, RN, C-EFM, who serves as a labor and delivery manager at TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center. As a Care Transformation and Innovation (CT&I) Innovation Hub, our hospital is at the forefront of efforts to improve healthcare technology and provides a living environment for care process design and testing. Jessica is working alongside the CT&I team by leveraging technology to test solutions to support labor and delivery clinicians in their quest to improve maternal safety. “The beautiful part of innovative work is that it’s challenging and uncomfortable but rewarding at the same time,” said Jessica. “Innovation may change programs and processes you’ve always known, but it is about making our work better, faster and more intuitive, allowing us more time with patients and families to positively impact their lives and leave them better than we found them.” Learn more about how Jessica is shaping maternal care solutions of the future at HCA Healthcare Today: https://bit.ly/3xHXmZS #HCANursing #CareTransformation

As part of HCA Healthcare , we remain committed to creating healthier, more equitable tomorrows for our patients, colleagues and communities.
