Yesterday, we welcomed Gov. Brian Kemp, First Lady Marty Kemp, Mayor of Dunwoody Lynn Deutsch along with customers, vendors and carrier partners for the grand opening of our new headquarters in Atlanta. Our CEO Ken Beyer stated "We are incredibly excited about our new headquarters in Atlanta and the opportunities for the future of our business. We have complementary businesses that are well-positioned to deliver fully integrated port-to-porch logistics solutions to our customers. Atlanta's vibrant business community and skilled workforce make it the perfect place to invest in our long-term growth." We are proud of this milestone and to bring all of our employees to one location in Atlanta. This month, BeyondBlack, our Black and African diaspora employee resource group (ERG), volunteered with Hands On Atlanta in support of their goal to fight hunger in the Atlanta community. Hands On Atlanta aims to mobilize the Atlanta community to tackle the city’s most pressing needs. The organization has several programs where volunteers serve elementary and middle schools, tackle hunger with the Atlanta Community Food Bank, provide STEAM education sessions for kids in grades K-5, and more. Our LGBTQIA+ Crew Employee Resource Group in Hickory, NC visited ALFA (AIDS Leadership Foothills-Area) last month to donate over 200 items and monetary donations in advance of Pride Month. AFLA works to reduce the stigma and impact of HIV, viral hepatitis, STIs and other communicable diseases through access to equitable prevention, education, and care services.
