"This is a unique feature on the Third Wave Reach truck" Do you know how forklifts receive specific load ratings and capacity ratings? ✔ They're based on the max weight that the forklift would be able to carry and also the maximum dimensions (based on the horizontal and vertical center of gravity for the payload). With our TWA Reach autonomous forklift, we use FRAMOS 3D cameras to help dimension payloads. This allows the forklift to know exactly how tall/wide the payload is. Then, that information is run against the specs of the forklift to ensure that the payload is safe to get picked up. → When it is picked up, two more things happen.
