I couldn't be more excited to share the news about this new Interoperability Matters Pharmacy Workgroup under The Sequoia Project! We have been talking about challenges of data access and exchange for the pharmacy community for a few years now and it was during last year's Sequoia’s 2023 Annual Meeting that we put a call out to the group and to industry to find a convening home to focus on this. I'm thrilled to be a co-chair of this workgroup along with Melanie Marcus from Surescripts, and partnering with three more amazing industry leaders who are on the steering committee including Kevin Nicholson from National Association of Chain Drug Stores (NACDS) Lisa Schwartz from National Community Pharmacists Association (NCPA) and Meg Freiter Murphy, PharmD from Surescripts. Thank you to Mariann Yeager and Bren Shipley for your support and giving us this opportunity to move pharmacy interoperability and clinical data exchange forward! For all of my pharmacy industry colleagues - we need your participation and input. Please reach out to learn more and get involved!! #pharmacyinteroperability #HealthIT #patientaccess #pharmacy
