Yesterday, employees of SJI gathered for our annual company outing to watch the Philadelphia Phillies square off against the Miami Marlins on a sunny and fun afternoon. It was a great opportunity to get out as OneSJI and enjoy the day with colleagues, family and friends. Stacey Cardenas, Payroll Specialist Lead, represented the company by throwing out the first pitch of the game. The Phillies played well and were rewarded with a hard-fought win. It was an enjoyable day for all!

Over the next several weeks, we’re excited to support the growth of interns like Dumar through our IGNITE summer internship as they learn more about the energy industry. As a Political Science major at University of Houston Law Center, Dumar is looking forward to working alongside our Legal team this summer!

Our IGNITE internship program provides students the opportunity to gain real-word experience, learn from industry professionals, network, and enhance skills. Joining us for the summer is Dominic, a Finance major at The College of New Jersey, who will be working closely with our talented Finance & Treasury team. SJI’s DEI Manager, TiAira Neal, joined industry leaders as a panelist at the Chamber of Commerce Southern New Jersey (CCSNJ) Annual Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging Forum today. This year’s theme explored the changing landscape of diversity and inclusion and included networking opportunities and a think tank action activity to engage participants.
