The origin of Park-9 Dog Bar was inspired by Nora, a beloved 3-year-old golden retriever, as her parents Tess, Emily, and uncle Christopher dreamed of creating a unique and inclusive hospitality hub that was dedicated to serving both humans and their dogs. From there, Park-9, New England’s first and only indoor dog park and bar was born, and their flagship location in Everett opened in 2023. We’re grateful to be able to play a part in their continued journey, as we celebrate the opening of Park-9 at The Station, their newest seasonal pop-up in The Fenway. The Fenway neighborhood is home to thousands of residents and students and bustles with a workforce that is dedicated to changing the world. It’s a destination for art, music, and sports lovers – and we’re thrilled to bring a new amenity for our community to enjoy alongside all our programs, retail, and open space. With weekly Fenway Flea markets curated by Original Markets, a rotating art gallery and student art shows curated by MASSART, open seating, games, and now an off-leash dog park, beer garden, and treats for both humans and pups, The Station is one-of-a-kind community gathering spot. On Thursday afternoon @samuelsandassociates hosted an Open House for MBE & WBE Certified Service Providers, opening our doors at Dot Block to speak with them about our residential, office and lab Portfolio. We had over 50 qualified firms join us and learn more from @Peter Sougarides, @Jeremy Ouellette and me about opportunities throughout S&A. Thank you to the S&A Asset Management Team and members of our External Impact Subcommittee that participated and fielded questions from our guests. ICYMI: The Fenway has a new look! 👀 It has been a thrill to work on the refresh of The Fenway brand at Samuels & Associates over the past year - and now, to see it come to life in our new website and across the neighborhood via light pole banners. Taking on this project, we knew that The Fenway deserved an update to reflect the neighborhood’s evolution, showcase what makes it unique, and build on its history in an authentic way. We wanted to update our look and tone to be more mature and modern. Whether interacting with our site (thefenway.com), @thefenway on social, or in walking around the neighborhood IRL, we have sought to create moments of joy and spark a sense of exploration and community through the brand. S&A’s Kevin Luczkow, VP of Construction, recently joined industry experts at Bisnow’s Boston Construction & Development panel to dive into the construction labor shortage and its impact on project timelines, the effect of interest rates and the high cost of capital on development and construction plans, and how S&A approaches the pre-construction process to solve for the major pitfalls that can occur.    Thank you Peter McGlynn for moderating, and to fellow panelists Gretchen McGill, Andy G.
