The UK Corporate Games is an annual event in which companies from across the UK come together to compete in a range of sports, from poker, to swimming, to dragon-boat racing. The 2024 event took place in Leeds, and Reed Smith was proud to be one of the main sponsors. The weekend began with a booming welcome parade with live music, street food vans, giveaways, and more. Throughout the weekend, competitors entered into Olympic-style heats, aiming for a chance to win a medal. Over thirty members of the Global Solutions Leeds office took part in a range of sports, including dragon boat, badminton, karting, basketball, and more. Our GSL team gave their all, putting up a tough battle for rival companies. A specific shout-out to the basketball team who got Reed Smith on the leaderboard, earning ten points for their performance.
