  • Outer Cape Health would like to wish everyone celebrating this day a safe and HAPPY HALLOWEEN! Below are a few safety tips to keep in mind when trick-or-treating this year: • Sunset is 5:36pm, bring a flashlight and parents wear reflective gear so your kids can see you and you can see them. • Do not eat anything that you collected from the evening that was not store bought and in the original untampered wrapper. • Eat before you go to prevent over snacking. • Summer is over, keep your kids warm by layering clothes so everyone can still see the awesome costumes. • Beware of candy that may be chocking hazards for toddlers. HAVE FUN! #happyhalloween #halloweensafety #trickortreat

  • Today is National Women’s Health & Fitness Day! As backbones of societies across the world, historically and statistically women have been known to put others before themselves, even to the detriment of their health. Take time today to reflect on how the women in your life have and continue to support you and others around them. I encourage others to be supportive of the women in their lives, mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and physically. Women, create balance for yourselves in your busy lives. Make that doctors appointment you’ve been putting off, eat healthy balanced meals, set aside time for exercise, and don’t forget that you are an individual that matters, so don’t feel selfish to do something for yourself that makes you happy. For those of you who find it hard to make time for exercise, below is a link to a deskercise series created by LOMA LINDA UNIVERSITY https://lnkd.in/eJCscdsZ #womenshealthandfitness #holistichealth #queens
