📰 SPECIAL UPDATE! ⚡ Portland City Council has approved the creation of a new bureau and to support it there will be a transition of city staff. Officially launching on July 1, the ‘Portland Permitting & Development’ team will bring together Portland Bureau of Development Services and four infrastructure bureaus all under one Director. There will be additional refinements that will take place over the 18 months that follow this launch, and it will have effects on the permitting process. These adjustments have been developed over the last three years through the work of the Permit Improvement Task Force, first initiated by Commissioner Dan Ryan in 2021. NAIOP Oregon's own 2024 President, Paul Delsman of Howard S. Wright, a Balfour Beatty company and DL Board Member, Suzannah Stanley of Mackenzie were on the Permit Improvement Task Force! Great to see progress, and NAIOP Oregon members at the heart of change, improvement, and our community. #NAIOPOregon #Community #PermitImprovement #Development #Change #TaskForce City of Portland

Don't mind us while we shout from the rooftops how proud we are of Allison Reynolds, of Stoel Rives LLP - and NAIOP Oregon's very own board member and Chair of the Public Affairs committee, for being awarded the Portland Business Journal 40 under 40 award this year! Allison does ⭐ SO much ⭐ for NAIOP Oregon in the background, which often finds little recognition. We're thrilled that she's being recognized - so well deserved. Congratulations, Allison! #40under40 #MVP #AwardWinner #PortlandBusinessJournal #WellDeservedRecognition
