This new name and brand define the community we serve, incorporates our city’s most iconic features and highlights our legacy as a civic organization to carry us into the future. Since our founding more than 150 years ago, we have been proud to be the champion for Portland metro’s business community.

On June 18, the Portland Metro Chamber hosted its 2024 Annual Meeting, presented by U.S. Bank. The event gathered business leaders and elected officials to celebrate our accomplishments over the last year while honoring organizations and people who are "running to" Portland with new investments. Portland Mayor Ted Wheeler shed light on the success of downtown's statistical crime model at our Annual Meeting last week. “When they [Portland Police Bureau] look at a particular category of crime, like stolen vehicles, they’re actually the ones who champion a statistical model in partnership with OHSU.
