Meet Suresh Gadigi, Moment’s newest Director of Engineering. Suresh is an experienced executive with decades of experience in fixed income and electronic trading systems, having served as the former lead of rates trading tech at Morgan Stanley and as VP of engineering at Axoni. We’re thrilled to have Suresh’s expertise and leadership on our team as we build the future of fixed income trading.

Two events in one day for the team at Public yesterday! We hosted an event with Rise, created by Barclays as part of #NYFintechWeek, about the launch of our bonds product. The panelist discussed how fintech partnerships come together and provided behind-the-scenes stories about how we worked with Moment and Apex Fintech Solutions over the last year to make buying corporate and treasury bonds more accessible to retail investors. A special mention goes to Carina Oriel for helping us make this panel a reality and to Hannah Miao for being an incredible moderator. After our bonds event, Jannick Malling went on stage with Chainalysis and Cory Weinberg as part of The Information's inaugural Private Capital Conference. The takeaways from the panel were about how to meet customer demand in a changing market, why retail investors love market volatility, and an overview of the current landscape for late-stage companies.

Day 2 of #NYFinTechWeek and we started off the morning getting energised with Flourish Ventures' Wellness Lounge. The Flourish Wellness Lounge was a calm retreat for fintech founders and investors to enjoy an engagement workshop with empathy expert, Michael A. Tennant, followed by community building in a serene space. This workshop inspired the room and got our minds ready for our next session, Rise Presents: Under the Hood of Public's Bonds Product. During this session, we heard from a leading consumer-facing organisation Public’s Chief Operating Officer, Stephen Sikes and his partners, Dylan Parker (Moment) and John Stuart (Apex Fintech Solutions) on how they came together and their latest bonds product. It was so great to see all of you today, and we look forward to seeing many of you tomorrow at Empire Startups - Everything FinTech Conference!
