This will be a year-round, full-time position. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in managing a small domestic team, coordinating vendors, and overseeing the daily operations of a fine home. We need a private service professional with exceptional interior/hospitality experience as well as a strong understanding of the care of a significant property. Responsibilities: The ideal candidate will be highly organized and have exceptional front-of-the-house skills and must be a team player with great communication skills. Additional experience that is a plus: high-end event experience, proficiency with household technology, and/or experience with systems and infrastructure maintenance for a waterfront property. Responsibilities: Reporting to the Estate Manager, the housekeepers are responsible for the general and specialty cleaning of the home, including care of fine materials and surfaces, performing a daily walkthrough, following a cleaning schedule, and answering the phones and door with professional courtesy. The successful candidate will happily assist the Chef with simple breakfast items and table service and be a considerate team player. The team shares rotating responsibility for weekend walkthroughs in the offseason. Qualifications: Must have prior experience working as a housekeeper in a fine home for a private employer.
