House Manager Wanted in Southampton, NY Our clients are looking to hire an experienced House Manager for their main residence in Southampton, NY with a start date of after Labor Day 2024. This will be a year-round, full-time position. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in managing a small domestic team, coordinating vendors, and overseeing the daily operations of a fine home. We need a private service professional with exceptional interior/hospitality experience as well as a strong understanding of the care of a significant property. Responsibilities: The ideal candidate will be highly organized and have exceptional front-of-the-house skills and must be a team player with great communication skills. Additional experience that is a plus: high-end event experience, proficiency with household technology, and/or experience with systems and infrastructure maintenance for a waterfront property. Qualifications: General responsibilities will include managing the household staff, serving as the primary point of contact for the principals, overseeing and scheduling vendors, maintaining the property, and preparing the residence for the busy summer season. The House Manager will assist with household projects, maintaining inventories, and coordinating schedules. Schedule: Generally, the House Manager will work five days a week, including weekends in the summer season. The rest of the year is primarily a weekday schedule. Compensation: Excellent compensation of $140,000 - $175,000 per year depending on experience and qualifications, plus a full benefits package (health insurance, annual discretionary bonus, 401(k), PTO, paid holidays, etc.).
