Collins to mark 10 years of the Working Cities Challenge. This initiative has driven collaboration across sectors, sparking significant positive changes in the community. Lawrence leaders highlighted that teamwork remains essential for tackling complex issues and uplifting the city’s majority Hispanic/Latino population. During the Lawrence Partnership's 2024 Annual Meeting & 10yr Anniversary Celebration, Collins shared her optimistic economic outlook and stressed the Fed's commitment to stabilizing inflation. Boston Fed President and CEO Susan M. Collins visited Lawrence, Mass., to hear first-hand about the city's economic progress and learn about its challenges. As part of the day, Collins toured Gemline's design, manufacturing, and quality control facility. She then participated in a roundtable discussion with Merrimack Valley-based employers to discuss economic and workforce conditions.
