Exciting news from the #KurarayPoval team! #Kuraray #Sustainability #LCA #Polyvinylalcohol #PVOH #Kuraraypoval
We’re excited to announce that a recent Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) found that the carbon footprint of our Kuraray Poval™ (PVOH) polyvinyl alcohol products has fallen again! Sustainability sits firmly at the heart of our business. That’s why this assessment is crucial in our mission for sustainability and transparency. Carried out using a ‘cradle-to-gate’ approach, it examined all production steps from extracting raw material to arriving at our customers’ factory gates. The outcome of this assessment found that the carbon footprint of our PVOH products made in Frankfurt, Germany not only decreased again for the third year in a row between 2022-23, but it is 30% lower than average. We’re proud of the work we’ve done - but it doesn’t stop there! Our Sustainability Taskforce is continuously working to reduce our environmental impact even further. You can learn more about our efforts in our LCA brochures: https://lnkd.in/e2hAhBqp #Kuraray #Sustainability #LCA #Polyvinylalcohol #PVOH #Kuraraypoval
