After 10 years of advocacy for faster and more reliable buses in Greater Boston, BostonBRT is winding down. By working closely with municipalities, State agencies, and local advocacy partners, BostonBRT contributed to an ongoing movement to implement bus priority and elements of BRT and change the perception of what reliable bus service can be. About us
This page is not currently being monitored. With offices in Boston and Los Angeles, ITDP US provided guidance and support to municipalities from coast to coast. ITDP’s approach included a process that balanced global and national knowledge coupled with localized collaboration with partner organizations. US cities have a long history of economic and social segregation. Our work was to accelerate change toward mobility freedom, access to opportunities, and a just future.

This past summer we lead the creative direction and vision for #FlowerWalk which transformed the Chelsea bus stop between Broadway and 3rd into an immersive urban forest, blending art and nature. This public art project seamlessly integrated accessibility, environment, sustainability, and community enrichment. Live plantings and graphic floral motifs surrounded commuters in a vibrant floral landscape. The installation featured an 80-foot @ZICLA level-boarding platform, making a faster, more accessible commute. Landscape design featured 25-foot trees, 175 perennial flowers and plants, and an ergonomic Woodluck! bench making the street transformation complete. Thank you for the night and day efforts from our team and partners from City of Chelsea, Chelsea's Department of Public works, ITDP United States, StudioFulDesigns, Denterlein, La Colaborativa, MBTA, Civic Space Collaborative, The Human Architecture and Planning Institute - theHAPI.org and numerous others. Equipped with vibrant paint and a vision we brought Flower Walk to life, transforming the transit experience in Chelsea.
