Enterprise and Platform Leaders, I know we all wake up thinking how to unlock adoption across large companies (okay, maybe just me). As we head into the weekend, I challenge y'all to take a Three Horizon Approach. A Three Horizon Approach does two very important things. 1: Defines what success looks like 2: Aligns success with a higher level business outcome The biggest problem our industry faces is inertia. It's simply really, really hard to get lift, and these two things are consistently the best indicators to successful freelance adoption. If done right, freelance adoption isn't a staffing or procurement related win. It's a business win, in a way that materially moves the needle across growth and innovation budgets (which means it pulls from a P&L). From Jon Younger PhD, "To help freelance marketplaces to better understand the variety and intensity of risk-related concerns, Human Cloud undertook a pilot study working with freelance marketplace CEOs and executives in the US and internationally. Leaders from the DACH region as well as Germany, Benelux, UK, France, Spain, and Latam participated. Marketplace executives were asked to share their ratings of the risk factors for both SMB and Enterprises using a five point scale where 1=not a risk factor, and 5=significant risk factor."
