At the Food Bank of Lincoln, ensuring the safety and cleanliness of our Distribution Center is a top priority! We regularly clean our facility—including ceilings and storage areas—and monitor temperatures to maintain a safe and sanitary environment for the food we distribute because everyone deserves access to safe and healthy food.

Last week, we were thrilled to welcome young explorers from Family Service Lincoln as part of their Lincoln Camp Give Back. These curious and compassionate kids are a shining example of our community’s bright future. During the visit, the kids got an inside look at how the Food Bank operates and helped pack food boxes for distribution, lending a hand in our mission to provide nourishing meals to neighbors in our community. We were inspired by their energy and are grateful for their dedication. Thank you for spending your day with us!

This collaboration reflects our shared dedication to compassion and service. Beyond nourishment, we're fostering connections and strengthening our community support system. We appreciate this partnership and remain committed to working together to connect more meals to more neighbors.

We recently received a generous check from Hy-Vee, Inc. as part of the inspiring 100 Million Meals Challenge, a collaborative effort between Hy-Vee, Inc. and Feeding America. This incredible donation will help us provide approximately 354,000 meals to our neighbors experiencing food insecurity.
