Her commitment to learning and hard work makes her an incredible asset to our team! 💪 Outside of work, Deana is a creative soul! She loves painting, soaking in live music, diving into good books, dancing, and embarking on spontaneous road trips. It's #CACFPWeek! 🥦 CACFP (Child and Adult Care Food Program) combats hunger by bringing healthy foods to tables across the country for children and adults in care centers, homes, and after-school programs. In 2023, Family Service CCFP (funded by CACFP) expanded to reach ALL counties in Nebraska, working with hundreds of independent daycares to provide support, nutrition resources, and reimbursement for serving healthy food to the kiddos in their care! His passion for his work shines through in everything he does. ✨ If you've crossed paths with John, you've experienced firsthand the special blend of infectious positivity and strong work ethic that make him an invaluable part of our team. He goes out of his way to connect and collaborate with everyone, whether he's at Cavett or at the FSL office and especially shines when it comes to training new Teacher Assistants, ensuring they feel supported and prepared from day one! In his spare time, John enjoys spending time with his family and loves traveling around NE to watch his three grandchildren play sports. Fun fact: in the early 80s, John played baseball on a full-ride scholarship for Taft College in California! ⚾️💯 We're so fortunate to have you on our team, John!
