Shout out to the girls at #LiveGirl’s camp for their enthusiasm during our “Lead Like a Girl” camp program earlier this week. The girls connected with the stories of our #inductees to learn how to utilize the seven tenets of #confidence to overcome challenges through a variety of activities. #knowyourself #beyourself #youareenough #useyourstrengths #exploreyourfears #failforward #usefrustrationasmotivation Thank you to #ShamareHolmes for inviting us to prepare a program for this #LiveGirl camp.

Yes! We need more female inventors!
I’m so excited to send 1,000 girls to Camp Invention this summer with the National Inventors Hall of Fame where they will dream big, have fun and build the confidence to solve problems for our world. 🌍 Only 13% of primary patent holders are women. We need more products and ideas generated from the feminine perspective. Women have so many gifts to bring into the world… imagine if their full potential could be realized. My hope is that this gift will inspire the next generation of female leaders and industry disruptors. A few months ago, our Executive Director, Raina Giddings, MBA visited Grace Academy Hartford, toured the school, and shared some inspirational words and insights about her leadership role. The visit was incredibly uplifting, especially since the students focus on women's history, and have a tradition where the 8th graders name their graduating classes after trailblazing women. This week, our Education Manager, Dolores Bates met with the girls to discuss the importance of women using their passion and perseverance to transform the world. We are incredibly proud of these young scholars and their commitment to honoring the incredible women who have paved the way for future generations. Keep shining, Grace Academy! #WomenInHistory #Inspiration #Trailblazers #Leadership #Empowerment #CTWHF #Education #YouthEmpowerment #WomenLeaders #FutureLeaders #RoleModels #STEM #SeeItBeIt Princess G. Today, we celebrate the fathers, grandfathers, and father figures who support, inspire, and uplift the women and girls in their lives. Your encouragement and guidance play a vital role in shaping future leaders and achievers. Together, we honor and cherish your contributions today and every day! #FathersDay #CTWomensHallofFame #Inspiration
Fathers, grandfathers, uncles, and all father figures – this one is for you. We talk a lot about motherhood here, but your contributions are equally important. You are our co-caretakers and role models for our children. Today (and every day), we celebrate you.

30 years ago the Connecticut Women's Hall of Fame was born when 47 Connecticut women were inducted at the first-ever Induction Ceremony. A tradition that has continued annually growing the Hall from 47 to 148 women! Join us as we honor the inaugural class of #CWHFinductees in anticipation of celebrating a new class of Inductees at our 31st Annual Induction Ceremony and Celebration on October 22, 2024, at The Bushnell! We begin with Mary Jobe Akeley, an explorer, photographer, and author who achieved international recognition for her efforts to save the endangered wildlife of Africa. She was a woman who lived beyond the traditional construct of female roles, choosing to live a life of adventure. Learn more about this incredible woman by reading #herstory @https://lnkd.in/eBpDvkYy Educate! Inspire! #ctwomen
